We collaborate with “Hidden World of Huntington’s Disease”, a project run by a team from the Edith Cowan University Perth.
The project uses photography (photovoice) to share the hidden sides of life with HD.
Open to people with HD, families, carers, health professionals and researchers, it helps capture what it’s really like to live with, support or treat someone with HD.
A pilot study is underway in Australia with Huntington’s Australia and the team working with our associations and other collaborators to take it worldwide.
This project seeks to build awareness, create a movement and advocate for better social support for the HD community.
